Product Owner
Job Description:
Role Summary
Defines and manages products to support the COE's overall strategy and deliver a differentiated product addressing the market and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
· The Product Owner will elicit, facilitate, synthesise, and present technical solutions.
· The candidate will use business requirements to drive the design or review of products, test cases, business process design and define a project's vision, scope, acceptance, and implementation.
· The ideal candidate can work on multiple projects simultaneously and translate business data into usable information, which will help to improve systems and processes.
· Consult various customers (internal and external) to understand their value chain, structure, functions, and products and/or services
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.
· Challenge the business in their thinking, especially to understand the intent of the business requirement.
· With little supervision, elicit, gather, analyse, document, validate and communicate business requirements (Agile and Waterfall Formats)
· Determine the feasibility of a proposed project.
· Understand the commercial importance of changes or new features.
Qualifications
· Relevant tertiary qualification / IT Degree
Experience
· 6-8 years relevant experience
· Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication.
· Logical reasoning and problem solving.
· Customer focused approach to work.
· Strong communication skills.
· Strong presentations skills / Power Point presentations.
· Project Management skill
